We use Our Groceries to create multiple grocery lists, to do lists, lists of tasty bourbons, and share them with each other on our smartphones through the available app. Knowing full well that others do this I though I’d share something Melissa did that I thought was incredibly useful, intelligent and inventive.
Like a lot of people, we do the majority of our shopping on the weekend and, like a good many of those people, we put it off until Sunday. The problem with this has been that we get up early, and many of the stores do not open until 10am or 11am, and some stores just don’t feel like it’s Sunday enough and don’t bother opening again until Tuesday since they are closed on Monday. Melissa got tired of looking up what time the stores opened so she added the stores and their hours to the groceries list. So this morning when I asked “Does Costco open at ten or eleven?” all I had to actually do was open the “Our Groceries” app, and start to add Costco to the list and it popped up with the info.
“Clever, clever girl.”
